トランザクションのコミットとチェックポイント処理との間の内部ロック処理が不十分であったため、最近のチェックポイント直前にコミットされたトランザクションの全部あるいは一部がデータベースのクラッシュの後の再起動時に欠落する可能性がありました。 この深刻な不具合はPostgreSQL 7.1以降から存在していました。
