7.3 からの移行の場合は ダンプ/リストアは必要ありません。 しかし、PostgreSQLの主なインタフェースライブラリであるlibpqのメジャーバージョン番号がこのリリースから変更されましたので、libpqを使用したクライアントコードを再リンクする必要があります。
